My family and I will visit WDW on october, we will attend Mickey’s not so scary halloween party on november 1st. We are planning to spend october 31 at Disney Springs. We were thinking of using costumes, does people use Costumes at Disney Springs?

Boo to you, Margarita!  Thanks for bringing this spooktacular question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Autumn is my favorite season, especially when I get to fall into fun at the Walt Disney World Resort!  It sounds like you're getting into the Halloween spirit as you plan your vacation.  The Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that costumes may not be worn by guests ages 14 or older.  The exception to this rule is, of course, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, where guests of all ages may wear costumes.

Even though the members of your family who are over the age of 14 will not be able to wear a costume to Disney Springs, you can still dress in some frightfully fun Halloween attire.  At shopDisney.com, you will find some adorable Disney Halloween clothing and accessories.  My personal favorite is the Minnie Mouse candy corn ear headband.  You might even be able to find some of these items at the World of Disney store during your visit to Disney Springs.

Since you will also be attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your trip, be sure to take a look at these Disney Parks Moms Panel tips for making the most out of this eerie event.  Wishing you a Walt Disney World Resort vacation that's so good it's scary!
