While we are not given advance notice of special promotions such as the free dining, I can tell you that historically, these promotions occur in lower peak times, so the likelihood of it occurring during the Christmas/New Year season is probably pretty slim. However, you just never know. Typically, promotions are announced several months out. Keep an eye out on the
special offers page of the Walt Disney World website as well as the
Disney Parks Blog, as they will be the best places to see the most up to date and official announcements.
