My family and I would like to visit WDW over Christmas/New Year. We are curious as to how far in advance WDW will announce free dining promotions. Also, does Disney ever have a promotion for free dining over the new year? Thanks so much for your help!

    Hello Alisha,

Thanks for stopping by with your question. How exciting to begin planning next year's holiday trip as we wind down this season. It is certainly an extra special place to visit during this festive time of year.

While we are not given advance notice of special promotions such as the free dining, I can tell you that historically, these promotions occur in lower peak times, so the likelihood of it occurring during the Christmas/New Year season is probably pretty slim. However, you just never know. Typically, promotions are announced several months out. Keep an eye out on the special offers page of the Walt Disney World website as well as the Disney Parks Blog, as they will be the best places to see the most up to date and official announcements.

As your planning continues, don't hesitate to ask me more questions. I'd love to help out in any way I can.
