Can my family visit MK and go back to Poly resort to rest. And come back to Mk same day with a base ticket and it only count as one day ticket?

    Absolutely!

In fact, I encourage your family to return to the Polynesian to rest for a mid-day break!

With a base ticket, you'll be able to enter and exit as many times as needed the park that you choose to visit that day. Only one day will be deducted from your ticket. If the Magic Kingdom is the first park that you enter on a given day, then you may enter and exit the Magic Kingdom as many times as you like that day and it will only count as a single day's admission.

The Polynesian is a wonderful resort. Our family is returning there in October! Access via the monorail as well as via motor launch (boat) makes escaping back to your resort very convenient.
