My family would like to visit DW for the 2nd time next spring. We stayed off site for our first visit, in a house with a pool, but would like to stay onsite this time. We have 3 boys, ages 3, 5 & 7. Any recomm's? Also want one w/kids activities

    Sandy:

Disney is so much more magical when you stay on property!

Because you'll have five in your party, your choices are limited in the budget category, but the good news is that Port Orleans: Riverside happens to not only be the only Moderate resort to accommodate five because of its trundle beds, but also has a fun pool area, boat access to Downtown Disney and Legoland, along with a Pirate cruise that boys your children's ages love!  If you're on a budget, this is great choice.

If money isn't an issue, you might want to consider staying at the Polynesian or Beach Club, both of which have daybeds to accommodate your party!

The Polynesian's located on the monorail (a ride in itself) with access to both Magic Kingdom and Epcot!  The tropical theme is a hit with young and old, but the erupting volcano at the pool is a must-not-miss along with the torch ceremony and water pageant from the pier.  There's a Pirate Cruise that leaves from the nearby Grand Floridian which is only a boat ride away!

Beach Club makes my list because of its Stormalong Bay which includes a sandy beach, water slide and lazy river at the resort.  It also sports walking access to Epcot and Disney Studios, not to mention the Boardwalk, which is one of my children's favorites, to watch the street performers.

Hope this helps, and I wish y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
