Hello. Our family of 9 will visit Disney World in 2018. Plan to stay at Grand Floridian. Are there any connecting rooms available at this resort hotel? I know about the villas, but all we need is one set of connecting rooms for 2 kids and 2 adults. Thanks!

Hi, Carole! Disney’s Grand Floridian is such a beautiful and proper sight, you may very well see Mary Poppins scoot by on her Carousel Horse! Or perhaps your children will be seeing Alice and the Hatter at tea? I adored my first stay at the Grand Floridian, and I hope to make many return trips!

If you don’t prefer the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you will find a few connecting rooms in each building on the Resort, particularly in the Main Building. I can tell you that the extremely short walk to Boca Chica, on the back side of the center pool, is worth the journey. The building provides a spectacular view of the tree-lined Lagoon, and if you step outside the back lobby door, you can sit on the grass and enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant at night! My group was astounded to be so close to the light-up magic!

Please keep in mind that while connecting rooms can be requested, they are never guaranteed, though Cast Members will do what they can to satisfy the reservation. I’m sprinkling extra pixie dust on your booking in hopes that you get exactly what you need. If I can be of any more help for your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, please let me know! ~ Lindsey P.
