    My family and I want to visit california adventure while the lunar new year event is happening. Do we need to buy a specific ticket for the event or just buy a regular california adventure ticket and with that we'll be able to experience the event?

    I am so glad you are already planning to experience Lunar New Year during your visit because this would have been my #1 recommendation for you. Any Guest who has a ticket and theme park ticket reservation for Disney California Adventure Park can take in all of the fun of Lunar New Year from January 20, 2023, to February 15, 2023. There is no extra charge or ticket for this.

    There is a Sip & Savor Pass that you can purchase at different areas throughout the park and this will give you tabs to use to redeem for bites or drinks or you can just purchase items individually from each marketplace. The Disney Eats Foodie Guide was just released this past week and our family loves looking this over before we visit to make a list of all the items we really want to try while we are there. 

    Be sure to stop by the Lucky Wishing Wall at Paradise Gardens where you can add your own message of hope, health, and happiness for the new year.
