Our family will be vacationing at Disney in July 2015. We have 3 early teenage children we are bringing. What would you suggest we start out with in our itinerary? We would like to do a couple special lunch/dinners - what is best suggested for this age?

Hi Rebecca, thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Never fear, we can help you! Walt Disney World has many things that your pre-teens would enjoy. Let me offer up some suggestions:

*Thrill Rides- Your pre-teens will love screaming their heads off on attractions like Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, DINOSAUR, and Mission: SPACE.

*Themed Dining- These dining experiences have convincing theming and at some locations even the serving staff get in on fun. Rainforest Cafe, 50's Prime Time Cafe, 'Ohana, San Angel Inn Restaurante, T-Rex, Teppan Edo, and my favorite, Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant.

*Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Downtown Disney would be a great way to spend an afternoon with your family. Splitsville boasts an amazing menu as well as two floors of retro bowling and live music.

*DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park would be the perfect place for any game lover in your family. Its got five floors of unique interactive video games and classic video games. It even has a design your own roller coaster experience where you can ride your own creation after you've designed it.

*There are also many swimming options including Disney's own water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

If you have any more questions please feel free to stop by. Happy planning, and have a magical Walt Disney World Vacation.
