Hi Javon,
Welcome to planDisney and I’m excited that you and your family to be coming back to the Walt Disney World Resort!
December is a special time to come to the Walt Disney World Resort because of all the holiday decorations, great snacks, and overall memories that can be made. The short answer is, you can plan for your vacation right now! You can start by booking your
Theme Park ticket and
Disney Resorts Collection hotel package. Booking can be done through the
Walt Disney World Resort website for all of December 2022. Just remember to create or sign in to your
My Disney Experience account before you purchase your package. This way both your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and Theme Park tickets will be linked to your account.
Next, you’ll want to secure your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Currently, the Walt Disney World Resort requires guests to have both a Disney Park Pass reservation and valid ticket admission for each day you’d like to enter the Theme Parks. To do this, from the home screen in the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Make a Park Reservation” then select “Theme Park Tickets” this will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you can select your Disney Park Pass reservations. Remember, you can only make the Disney Park Pass reservations if you already have your Theme Park tickets purchased. You’ll want to double check the
Theme Park Reservation calendar as well, just to make sure the days you’re hoping to select have availability.
Unfortunately since the re-opening of Walt Disney World Resort, the dining plans have not come back yet. Though the dining plan isn’t an option right now, there are still other
options for your family. For example, you can
mobile order at a number of restaurants within the Theme Parks and Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Just choose a quick service restaurant, select a timeframe, and order your food in the My Disney Experience mobile app. You can also book your
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance for select table service restaurants!
I hope these “Bits By Bryanna” are helpful as you prepare for your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort later this year. If you have further
vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I am always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
