My family just vacationed at Disney World from Dec. 4-10. The parks and PC resort were surprisingly crowded to me. We are going back next year again. When would you advise going to avoid the crowds. We are looking at between the months of Aug.-Dec. 2010.

Hi Katy!

I would suggest visiting Disney World during their value season. Not only will the crowds be manageable, but you will save money on your resort room by enjoying the lowest rates of the year.

My favorite time to visit in mid to late September. The crowds aren't bad because school has just started back up, and during this time of year you can take part in Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.

The only negative thing that I can say about this time of year is that it can get quite hot and humid. Luckily, there are plenty of indoor air conditioned attractions to keep you cool along with some great pools at the Disney resorts.
