Family vacation on-site early March. Will probably get to go back late April , again on-site (just me, yeah!). Wondering if I should upgrade to annual pass: will I get Extra Magic Hours if my ticket (annual pass) is not on my room card?

    Hi France!

I have an Annual Pass for Walt Disney World and it has been one of the best purchases that I have made!  If you are planning to travel to Walt Disney World more than once a year and plan to be in the Parks more than 10 days in a calendar year, then an Annual Pass starts to make mathematical sense and will actually save you money.  Also there are discounts such as room rate discounts and other special offers that come with having an Annual Pass.  You will not have to worry because the the Extra Magic Hours are for all guests who are staying at the Resorts on Walt Disney World Property so your room key (the "Key to the World" Card) is your access to the Extra Magic Hours not your Park Ticket.  Sometimes if you have a vacation package your dining plan, your tickets, and your room key are all on the one card so that may cause some confusion to guests.  I have used my Annual Pass to get into the Parks and then showed my Room Key to receive the Extra Magic Hours Benefit on my last seven trips to Walt Disney World and it worked great!

I hope that you have an incredible and memorable time on your next two trips to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
