Hi, my family and I are going on a vacation in May there is 4 of us. However, we are thinking about bringing an additional person with us and we were wondering if that was a possibility? Wondering about dining reservations and hotel room!

    Hi Stephanie!

I am actually dealing with the same issue for an upcoming trip of ours in November.  My oldest son may be bringing a friend, but we aren't sure yet.

Disney understands that plans can change, and reservations can usually be modified.  As far as a room reservation goes, it will be based upon the occupancy allowed in a room.  A lot of the rooms only allow four guests, so you will want to check on that.  If you have an existing reservation, you can call to talk to a reservation specialist to determine what type of room you have.  They can be reached at 407-939-1936.  You may want to make your reservation for a room that will hold five people, just in case the additional person does join you.

Dining reservations are a bit easier.  What I plan to do is make all of our dining reservations assuming that we will have the additional guest.  If it doesn't work out, it's very simple to call and have one person taken off of your reservation.

I hope this helps with your planning.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
