    Hi Lisa!

A big congratulations on taking your first Walt Disney World vacation, lots of magical moments are waiting for you and your family!  When planning any Disney vacation, I always start with the 5 W's:
    • What's your budget?
    • When are you going?
    • Who is going with you?
    • Where are you going to stay?
    • What are you want to do when you get there?
You've got 4 out of 5 crossed off your list, so your plans are almost done.Deciding on what to do can be a bit of a challenge. The first thing that I do when planning a vacation itinerary is to visit They have a number of wonderful resources, but I love to check out the crowd calendar. For everyday they will give you a suggestions for the best park to visit and the park you want to avoid.Their predictions are usually spot on and can save a lot of time waiting in lines.

Now it's time to construct actual attractions, shows and meals for everyday of our trip.On the Walt Disney World website you can search for attractions based on age group, thrill level, interests, height and accessibility such as physical considerations.Disney's new My Disney Experience on the website will let you mark your favorite attraction and shows on your Wish List, to make it easy to see while making your touring plans.

When traveling with small children it is really important to work in a break, Disney can easily overwhelm the senses adults so younger children will be much happier travelers taking a break midday to escape the Florida heat. I also highly recommend taking at least half a day off from your plans where you can sleep in or relax by the pool. This will make for happier little travelers and will give you a little rest from touring all the parks.

I hope this helps you get started!

    Best Wishes!
