Our family vacation is in June 2012. We are on the Deluxe D.P. I would like to get sample size foods from around the world showcase in Epcot. Is this available with our food plan? If not, what would you recommend? Thank you.

    Hi Thomas,

I am wondering if you might be thinking about the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival in the fall where there are kiosks throughout the World Showcase where guests may purchase samples of foods from various countries and regions.  If so, I'm sorry to say your trip in June won't be when this event is happening.

However, there are plenty of ways to still explore and try many of the foods throughout the World Showcase, but the servings will be a bit bigger than a sample size.  With the Deluxe Dining Plan, you will have two snacks per day for each paying guest on the plan; these can be used in one day or spread throughout your entire trip. Throughout all of Epcot and Walt Disney World, there are many, many choices of snacks (too many to actually list or include on a pamphlet). If you visit www.disneyfoodblog.com, there is actually an e-Book that is about Epcot snacks; it is a perfect way for you to do some research prior to your arrival.

Thank you for the question.  Please let us know if we can help again and have a magical trip!
