Welcome to planDisney, Shelli.
Wow, a family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort sounds fantastic. As Miguel from Coco says, “We may have our differences, but nothing’s more important than family.”
The World's Most Magical Celebration is well underway and there is tons of EARidescent excitement to be experienced and enjoyed. Since there are only a few more months until your trip, I'm sure you're in the throes of the
vacation planning, Shelli. It sounds like you've been tasked to take the lead in figuring out some of the details, including saving a few pennies. In the word of Bruno from Encanto, "You’re exactly what this family needs."
Shelli, are you considering staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel? There are so many
benefits to staying on property, such as complimentary transportation. This will save you money on parking fees! You'll also get to enjoy
extra time in the Theme Parks, as well as being immersed in the magic of Disney for the entirety of your trip. Keep an eye on the
special offers page on the Walt Disney World website in case any hotel deals come up between now and your trip.
To get a group discount on your Resort stay, you'll need to
book 10 or more rooms. It doesn't look like you're going to qualify for this discount (unless you can convince more people in your 'Ohana to come).
Also, at this time, there are no group discounts on Theme Park tickets for a party of fifteen. However, you might be pleased to know that you can
currently save $20 per ticket when you purchase 3-day or longer tickets online as compared to the price at the ticket window. And the more days you visit, the steeper the discount gets. The general rule is: "The more you play, the less you pay per day." I have good news for you too: any Mousketeers under the age of 3 are considered "Guests of Mickey" and don't need a Theme Park ticket!
I hope that's clarifying, Shelli. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
