My family & I usually go to Disney around September & the crowd is very small. We barely wait in line. We are coming this year, for the first time, for Mickeys Halloween. What is the park generally like, crowd & wait time in line?

Hello Gwen!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

For those of use who prefer adventuring Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks during non-peak, less-crowded times, September is an Endlessly Magical month to visit.

We had Special Event Tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in late August this year and found that the crowds were very manageable. However, with so many Special Event Exclusive opportunities for Character Experiences, Parades, Shows and Fireworks, there are a few experiences that will be busier than most. Meeting Characters like Jack Skellington and the 7 Dwarfs will have longer than average wait times due to their sheer popularity.

On the other hand, Magic Kingdom attractions that are operating during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party(other than Haunted Mansion) have lower than average wait times due to the influx of Guests waiting for Special Event-exclusive festivities and the limited number of Guests allowed in Magic Kingdom at that time.

Basically, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party provides a less-crowded and relaxed atmosphere when walking through the Theme Park, Trick-or-Treating and Regular attractions, with longer than average lines for certain activities that can only be experienced during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

    Have a Spook-tacular Visit!
