Our family will be using the Disney Ground Transfer service from MCO airport to Port Canaveral for the first time. How early should/can we queue up for the transfer?

Ahoy, Conrad! It’s almost time for your Disney Cruise! Let’s head to the fast lane and talk about Disney ground transportation.

When you reach the airport, look for a Disney Cruise Line representative near the baggage claim area. They will direct you to check in and the awaiting motorcoaches. If you are arriving a few days early and staying at a nearby hotel, plan to arrive at Terminal B, Level 1. Transportation to the port begins at 10:00 a.m., and there's no need to arrive much earlier, as the buses depart only when they are nearly full.

It looks like your magical voyage includes TWO stops at Disney Castaway Cay! How delightful! Exploring Castaway Cay by bike is an awesome way to see the island's beauty up close. The path is well-marked, and there are water stations along the route. A hidden gem is the observation tower. Climb it for a bird's-eye view of the island and a stunning selfie opportunity with the ship.

Speaking of the island’s beauty, don’t miss the chance to explore underwater too! The crystal-clear waters are perfect for snorkeling. You’ll find colorful fish and even some of Ariel’s hidden treasures. The bike rental stand and snorkeling lagoon are easy to get to from the second tram stop.

I hope you dive into all the fun on Disney’s private island! From the thrilling Pelican Plunge water play area to the delicious BBQ lunch and pristine white sandy beaches, I'm jealous you'll have two days to enjoy it all! Thank you for stopping by with your question!
