    My family is using the basic disney dining plan in two weeks for our vacation. Can fast service restaurants be used in the place of table service restaurants on the plan, or do you have to do table service. Thanks.

    Hi Kellie,

    You can use a table service credit to pay for a counter service meal, but not the other way around.  I would recommend waiting until you are out of counter service meal credits before you start substituting. 

    Enjoy being at WDW on the dining plan.
