My family (all 6 of us) are coming either in march or may of 2011 and we have no idea which resort to stay at!! We are going to split the cost and we want a place we can cook, but everything is like $800 bucks a night which is WAY too much for us. HELP!

    Hi Ella,

Thanks for writing.  Have you considered staying at a cabin at Fort Wilderness Resort?  The cabins sleep up to six guests, and have a fully-equipped kitchen.  There is a separate living room, dining area and bedroom.  The living room has a "murphy-style" bed that pulls down from the wall and sleeps two comfortably.  In addition, each cabin has its own deck and grill, where you can also prepare meals.  Prices vary throughout the year, however, cabins are generally less costly than a two-bedroom villa at a Disney Vacation Club property (which is what I'm guessing you have been looking at.)   Fort Wilderness is an amazing resort to call "home" while on your vacation.  It is a Magic Kingdom area property, and access to the theme park is via a quick boat ride.  In addition, "the Fort" is loaded with fun activities such as horseback riding, fishing and bicycle riding.  An amazing campfire and sing-along is hosted by Chip & Dale, followed by an outdoor movie nightly, and the Electric Water Pageant passes by the resort's beach for guests to enjoy.

    I hope this suggestion help!
