It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jim! Exploring
Resort Hotels is one of my favorite things to do when I'm on vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, and
Disney's Wilderness Lodge rises right up there to the top of the list of the ones I visit all the time. It's inspired by the majestic beauty of the Pacific Northwest and I love immersing myself in that environment because it feels both grand and cozy at the exact same time!
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a guest-favorite because there's just so much to do there. There are some incredible dining locations to enjoy, and since you've got little ones you should consider booking dinner at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. The restaurant is located inside the main building of the Resort Hotel and you'll be able to meet Disney Characters like Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and The Queen! If you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast, I highly recommend
Whispering Canyon Café, which features delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets and a truly entertaining dining experience. There are also two Quick-Service restaurants to try,
Roaring Fork and
Geyser Point Bar & Grill, and the latter has a Bison Cheeseburger that you have to order at least once while you're there. The restaurant is named after Fire Rock Geyser, which you can see erupt every hour on the hour, so make some time to see it and take some pictures!
Because Disney's Wilderness Lodge is situated on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, you'll also be able to take advantage of unique recreation and transportation options. You can take part in a
guided fishing expedition and there are
several sizes of powerboat available for rental as well!
Boat transportation to
Magic Kingdom Park is also available, so give that a try if you're looking for a breezy, magical ride to your destination.
I hope this answers your question, Jim, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your vacation!
