Hi there, Jeannie!
Thank you for popping by planDisney with your question. You'll be staying at two of my favorite
Resort hotels in all of
Walt Disney World, so I'm thrilled that your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just weeks away!
Between the savanna views at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and access to the
Disney Skyliner at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, you have chosen two incredible places to stay in the middle of the magic. I reached out to a friendly Cast Member and confirmed that you are considered a guest of a Deluxe Resort hotel from the beginning of the day you check in until the end of the day you check out, so I can happily share that you will be able to enjoy the
Extended Evening Theme Park hours on the Wednesday of checkout.
My favorite part of the Extended Evening Hours is the availability of an additional 6 PM
virtual queue for
TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. I was once able to ride Cosmic Rewind three times in a single day as a result of this perk exclusive for guests of Deluxe Resort hotels. As a friendly reminder, the 6 PM queue can be joined from anywhere, not just within the theme park of the attraction.
If you're looking to enjoy a meal while Magic Kingdom Park is still open to the public, I never turn down the unique fare and cringe-worthy puns featured at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Adventureland. Once you have feasted on what I consider to be the ninth wonder of the world, their off-the-menu Brazilian cheese bread, you'll be fueled for your bonus hours of magic.
Although you will only be eligible for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours while you are a guest of Animal Kingdom Lodge, I wanted to make sure you were aware that you will have access to Walt Disney World Resort theme parks
30 minutes before they open to the public throughout your split stay.
I hope this was helpful, Jeannie, and that you have a magical vacation. Feel free to
stop back by with any additional questions that may arise!
Cheers to 2024,
Lizzie
