    My family of 5 has an upcoming split stay at the same hotel 3 seperate reservations. 1 includes tickets and DDP, the other 2 are room only. What should I expect transferring rooms, or will I get to stay in the same room? If not, how will luggage be handled

    I hope you are getting excited for your upcoming vacation! When my family has an upcoming trip, we like to start a paper chain countdown for the kids. They take turns each day taking a piece of the chain off. The excitement in their eyes each morning is priceless.

    March is such a fabulous time to travel to the Walt Disney World Resort. One of my very favorite reasons to visit during this time is the 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Beautiful topiaries and gardens carpet Epcot. The Outdoor Kitchens have a variety of delicious bites, and I encourage you to try a few new flavors during your visit.

    We recently experienced our first split stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The Cast Members went out of their way to help make our transition incredibly seamless. Upon check-in, I recommend heading to the front desk to explain that you have multiple reservations. While not guaranteed, you can request that you have the same room for the length of your stay. If they can accommodate this request, you won’t have to transfer rooms each time your new reservation begins. I had the most success with this when the rooms were in the same category. For example, each room reservation would be booked in the standard room category, or each reservation would be booked in the preferred room category. If they are unable to accommodate your request, you can request that Bell Services assist you with your luggage. They will come to your room to gather your luggage and will hold it in the Bell Services area until your room is ready. Once your new room is available, you can then call Bell Services and ask that they bring your luggage to your new place.

    Since your stay is just a little over two months away, don’t forget to start planning your FastPass+ reservations. You can begin making your FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance of your stay with your valid Theme Park admission ticket.
