Having not experienced this rental before, I was pleasantly surprised to see how affordable it is to have a beach umbrella, two lounge chairs, two beach chairs, and a table to keep drinks out of the sand! I will be adding this to my bucket list for sure! I spoke to a friendly Cast Member on your behalf because I was brushing up on the Cancellations and No-Shows policy like you. I was told that once you reserve a
Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella, it is yours for the day, regardless of when you arrive. The cancellation and no-show policy states that Guests will be charged the full price of the reservation if they don’t cancel 24 hours in advance or do not show up. If it makes you more comfortable, you could contact the Tours, Recreation, or Non-Reservation Questions phone numbers on the
Walt Disney World Help Center site and ask that a note be made on your Umbrella reservation.
While I know you have done plenty of Typhoon Lagoon research, I’d be remiss, not to mention a couple of my favorites. The Surf Pool and Humunga Kowabunga are musts but don’t forget to enjoy some relaxing time floating in Castaway Creek. When you’re ready to have your feet on dry land or in the sand again, treat yourself to a delicious beverage from
Let’s Go Slurpin’. My favorite is the Piña CoLAVA, but my wife swears by the Hang Ten Mojito. Hit up Surf Doggies for a hot dog or Mickey Pretzel for a quick bite. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
