Our family has two 11 year olds, an 8 year old, and a 2 year old. Which moderate resort hotel would you suggest. What is there to do on days that we are not going to a park? When is the best time to go in June?

    Hi Shalain!

My favorite moderate resort is Port Orleans in either Riverside or French Quarter.  The grounds are absolutely beautiful and there are lots of fun activities for the kids to do!  A nice perk of this resort is the ferry boat to Downtown Disney, which is something you can do when you are not visiting a park.  You can browse in the shops, play with Legos, dine in one of the fabulous restaurants or even take in a movie!

If you will be visiting in June, I highly suggest you visit one of the water parks.  They are my family's favorite thing to do when it's a hot Florida day.  The kids will love splashing around in the water and zipping down the slides.

The best time to visit in June is during the first couple of weeks. Summer vacation will be starting all around the world, so visiting in early June will help avoid some of the summer vacation crowds.

    Have a magical day!
