Ahoy there, Becky. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
I’m delighted to see you were able to secure reservations for the Royal Gathering. It is one of our favorite complimentary activities on a
Disney cruise. Even though my daughter is now a young adult, we still enjoy meeting the beloved Disney Princesses – we find it fun to Disneybound and dress like one of the princesses during this
meet-and-greet experience.
On our recent cruise with extended family aboard the
Disney Fantasy, my sister and I were able to make separate reservations for Royal Gathering for all 11 of us. Our time slots were 15 minutes apart, like yours. When we checked in for our first reservation time slot, we let the Cast Members know we’re one large party and asked if we were able to go together. They were very accommodating and allowed us to stick together as one group. It is important to note that this may depend on Cast Member’s discretion, but I find that when you explain your situation, they’re all very understanding.
Once you’re onboard, be sure to check out the daily schedule of activities on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. There are fun meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the day with various Disney Characters. Sometimes, you may catch them spontaneously strolling around the ship and interacting with Guests as well.
Wishing you a magical sailing in a few weeks! As you continue to countdown to embarkation day, please don’t hesitate to sail by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
