Hi. My family of 4 (two kiddos ages 7 and 3) will visit July 23-31,2012. This is a business trip for my hsuband so we will stay off property at the company paid hotel. Any suggestions to make meal planning simple? Can we access a dinning plan? 1st timers.

    Hi Kerry!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Unfortunately, you can not purchase a Disney Dining Plan.  The Dining Plan is reserved as a perk for guests staying in a Disney owned and operated hotel.  However, I do have a suggestion.  I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  There you can view the menu, including prices, for all of the Table Service and Quick Service locations in Walt Disney World.  That will give you a good feel for what's available in the theme parks.

By the way, if you are interested in dining in one of the great Table Service restaurants at Walt Disney World, you really need to make a reservation especially during July which is a busy summer month.  Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  You definitely want to do that as soon as possible and reservations can always be cancelled later if not needed.  You do not have to be staying on property to make a reservation!

I hope this helps!  Our responses are limited in length, but I would be happy to help you some more.  Just write back with more questions!
