My family only has two days and plan to do magic kingdom and Hollywood studios. I'm torn between port Orleans, Coronado and Carribean. Because our trip is so short I wanted to maximize our time spent in the park but also have a great hotel. Tips?

Hi there, Tiffany! Welcome to planDisney!

Two days at the Most Magical Place on Earth is more than enough time to create magical memories that will last a lifetime. And staying on property is a great idea in order to maximize your family's time. But I must say, Tiffany, your question is a difficult one for me because you've just listed the three Resort hotels that I love the most! Decisions, decisions...

When choosing a Resort hotel, the first step is to consider which theme parks you're visiting. Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios steer me toward Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Not only is this my family's go-to place to stay in general, but this Resort hotel has its own direct connection via the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Hollywood Studios (and EPCOT). Although the quickest way to get from the hotel to Magic Kingdom Park is via bus transportation or Minnie Van Service, you could take the scenic route by taking the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT and then the Disney Monorail if you wanted to avoid the roads completely.

By the way, you will LOVE the atmosphere of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. If you do find a bit of downtime, the main pool area is fortress-themed, and it is a blast for the entire family! Also, one of my favorite restaurants on Disney property, Sebastian's Bistro, is there as well. And, Tiffany, you all will love the laidback, island vibes that this Resort hotel offers.

As I mentioned, Disney's Port Orleans Resort--French Quarter and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort are also fantastic options. They both have great dining options (one word: beignets!) and have some pretty unique experiences. At Disney's Port Orleans Resort, I love cruising down the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs for a fun night of food and shopping after a theme park day. When I stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, I make sure to visit the Gran Destino Tower to see its beautiful interior design and hang out at its lounges.

AN EXTRA GEM: In the My Disney Experience app, you can find the walking distance, transit time, and/or directions between any two points on property. In the app, search for any place or attraction using the magnifying glass. Select a location and click "Get Directions."This will definitely help you get from one place to another as quickly as possible, even if it's walking from Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway to Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land.

Tiffany, please revisit us here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation. I'm all ears

    Magic always,
