    We are a family of two adults and three children ages 14,10, and 8 when we go to WDW in May 2016. We are staying at the Yaght Club. Our oldest has tree nut allergies. How do we find out if tree nuts are in any of the foods at the sit down restaurants.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Yacht Club Resort is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. You can easily walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios or take a Water Taxi if you prefer. You can also catch the Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park from Epcot, giving you access to 3 Theme Parks without needing to use Disney Bus Transportation. Your kids will love splashing away in Stormalong Bay. They'll get to lounge in the lazy river, explore a replica of a shipwreck, and swoosh down the 230 ft. long waterslide! Disney's BoardWalk is just a short walk away too and has some great restaurants and lots of entertainment.

    The Chefs and Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort do an amazing job with Guests that have Special Dietary Requests. My youngest daughter has a peanut allergy, so I make sure that it is noted on all of our Advanced Dining Reservations and reiterate the allergy information to Cast Member serving us at the time of our meal. I also refer to the Walt Disney World Resort section of allergyeats.com to make choices that best suit our family's needs. Once you have made your Reservations you can contact the Walt Disney World Resort Special Diets Team by emailing them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com; they will help you to work with the Chefs at each Restaurant where you'll be dining prior to your visit in order to accommodate your son's allergy.
