we are a family of 4, two adults and 2 teen boys. we want delux accommodations but do not know if they have joining rooms? Or would it B better to just get a suite?

Hi Terenia!  This is always a tough decision when you have older kids who need their space as well as you needing yours!

The deluxe resorts all can accommodate you with connecting rooms.  We often stay at the Yacht and Beach Club resorts and request this for our family.  You must realize it can only be requested and not guaranteed so this might make a difference in your decision.  Also if you request please use the terminology connecting as adjoining to the resorts means the rooms are simply next to each other but do not share a common door inside where you can move from room to room.

Head to the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com and compare the resorts and the room types.  You might enjoy something in the villas through-out the property where you can have kitchen and laundry facilities.  Suites tend to be more expensive in the resorts.  There are some nice ones in the Beach Club where you have a king master room and bath, a living room area, and a second bedroom with two queens and bath.  This would also give you club level access no matter what floor the suite is located on.
