We are a family of 6 with two adjoining cabins. I have already spoken with Disney Cruise so we will be sitting together for dinners. The problem is our assigned time is 8:45 and we have a two year old and 4 year old. We are on a waiting list

Ahoy, Pamela and thanks for rowing over to planDisney with your question!

Pamela, all of the amazing dining options aboard Disney Cruise Line is one of the things my kids still talk about and can't wait to experience again. My youngest son was amazed by the unlimited soft-serve ice cream by the pool (and that Mom said yes to the ice cream)... I mean... it's vacation, right? Now, as a fellow Mama who understands little ones need their sleep, I appreciate this question, so let's chat about your rotational dining

First, Pamela, I'm very glad that you're already on the waiting list for earlier seating. That is the first, important step. I'll be wishing on a star for you that your time changes prior to your sail date. However, if it does not, I still have one more recommendation up my sleeve.

Once you have embarked, head straight for the Guest Services Desk. You'll find this midship on deck 3 on all 5 ships: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, and the Disney Wish. While I can't guarantee anything, I know that Cast Members try their very best to accommodate requests and sometimes it's best to talk with someone about your needs in-person.

Pamela, I hope this offers a bit of hope and a strategy for your upcoming sailing. From breakfast to lunch, dinner and beyond, I know that you'll have a delicious vacation in every sense of the word. If you have any other questions, please point that compass in the direction of planDisney and come on back.

    Bon Voyage!

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family.
