Hi Teresa, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family has spent the last two Easters at Walt Disney World, and we absolutely love being in the parks in all their spring beauty!
While it’s too early to know exactly what fun Easter activities will be offered in 2019, be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog next Spring for the latest news. Also, be sure to ask the Cast Members at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort when you arrive, because there are usually lots of great resort activities on Easter Sunday. My children have participated in Easter candy scrambles, participated in themed activities, and we’ve met Disney characters dressed in their Easter best at our resorts in past years.
Just a monorail ride away at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, my children love checking out the amazing chocolate Easter egg display created by the Disney chefs. In Magic Kingdom Park, there is usually a special introduction to the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade featuring the Azalea Trail Maids in their gorgeous Easter gowns. In the past, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny have hopped over to Town Square Courtyard to meet Guests, and they are too cute!
We also make sure to head over to Epcot, where the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will be taking place during your visit. Last year there was a fantastic Disney-themed Easter egg hunt in the World Showcase, and we really had a great time searching for the larger-than-life eggs in the different countries.
Teresa, I know you and your family are going to have the sweetest time together this coming Easter. Please come back and see us if you have any questions as you plan your special together time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
