Hi Jonathan!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this terrific Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR. I'm happy to be your planEAR today!
Ooooh, I love it so much that you're planning on bringing your crew to Mickey's house for some fun in the Southern California sun! The summertime can get pretty toasty, so make sure that you book a hotel with a great pool to cool off on those hot days.
You are correct, Jonathan, that your desired Disney dates aren't quite available just yet. Both
Disneyland Theme Park Ticket sales and
Park Pass Reservations open for booking 120 days in advance of every day. However, do note that all of the days that you'd like to spend in the parks
must be within those 120 days before you can purchase tickets or book your park pass reservation. At this time it looks like you have five or six more days before your first Disney date enters that window; depending on how many days you planned to be in the parks, at the very latest you should set to make your reservations by March 6. I will say that in my experience there seems to be a mad rush of trying to book dates and reservations a few weeks out and that's when the pickings become slim, whereas there's usually plenty of availability within the first month that the booking window opens.
Now that we have that clEARed up, I have just a few more important Disney dates for you to remember:
~ 60:
Dining Reservations for Table-Service, Character, and Buffet meals open at 3:00 A.M. PST 60 days in advance of every day. These can be made daily, as in you don't have to wait until your entire vacation is in the booking window. Go ahead and look over the menus now so you'll have a game plan for when it's time to start booking. And do note that these
do tend to go fast, especially the most popular locations.
~ 60: The number of days in advance you can book experiences at Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
~ 0: If you choose to not
add on the brand new Genie+ Service at the time that you purchase your theme park tickets (which will add the service to each ticket in your party for every day of use), you
can opt-in to the daily purchase of this service each of your Disney Days. To do this, you'll enter the theme park first, then make the purchase in your
Disneyland Mobile App. I actually like this purchase plan better because you can kind of test drive it on day one to see if you might want to skip it on other days.
I hope this helped to plan your upcoming visit to Mickey's house, Jonathan! Thank you again for sending your question to us. Be sure to follow the
