Hi, Tiffanie!
Thanks so much for sending your question to us at Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Your plan of taking a break from a fun day at
Magic Kingdom Park is a smart one. My family and I often stay at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, so that walk you are asking about is a very familiar one.
Getting to Magic Kingdom Park's exit from Frontierland is super-easy, as you simply need to take a short walk from that land through Adventureland to Main Street, USA. If you don't stop for photos, snacks, or window shopping (Cinderella Castle is so pretty! Anyone want ice cream? Ooh! The glassblower is working on something really cool!), you will be at the exit in under ten minutes.
The walk from Magic Kingdom Park's exit to
Disney's Contemporary Resort's entrance is about another ten minutes. The walking path is fairly flat, and very direct, so getting to and from your resort is a breeze. If you are a little weary, though, consider heading to the
Resort Monorail entrance for an easy ride "home". Although it is faster to walk back to Disney's Contemporary Resort, sometimes it's nice to hop a ride and enjoy that elevated view, especially because your resort is the
first stop on the way out of Magic Kingdom Park!
Enjoy your stay at
Walt Disney World, Tiffanie! Be sure to send us more questions as you plan; we love to help!
