Our family of 4 trip to WDW has now turned into 13 (3 families). My brother's family is joining us for 4 days and will not have park tickets on his 1st day. Any suggestions of what we can all do together on his 1st day that will not require tickets?

Hi, Savyvann!   How nice that your family is getting together in Disney World!

One thing you can do as a family is simply enjoy your resort!   So many times, we rush around to the parks and forget what is right in our own hotel waiting for us . . . pools, hot tubs, bars, restaurants, play areas, game rooms, and more!    Take a day to relax and enjoy each other's company!

Another option would be to visit Downtown Disney.   Here you can shop, enjoy some wonderful restaurants, rent a boat, catch a movie, or just find a comfortable spot to enjoy the Florida Sunshine!   Downtown Disney is a destination we visit during every trip.

I hope you have a great time with your family!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
