My family has a trip planned in Nov and I was curious about the water parks. Is it warm enough to actually spend the extra money to go to the water parks? If the weather is mild are the pools warmed?

    Hi Amanda,

My boys love the Disney water parks, and we include at least one visit on just about every trip.  Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have wonderfully-themed areas for adventure seekers at each end of the "thrill continuum", ranging from long, lazy rivers, to waterslides with multi-story, almost vertical drops!  I am happy to report that the water at both parks, like the pools at each of the Disney resorts, is heated to approximately 80 degrees.  I'm from the Northeast, where the water in our beaches and pools rarely reaches this temperature in late August, let alone in November, so for my family, it's downright balmy!  I did a quick weather check for Tennessee, and it looks like average highs in your neck of the woods in November approach 60, so I'm guessing you'll agree that 80 degree water is definitely worth a shot!

While it is impossible to predict the weather with complete certainty for a given week, November highs tend to approach 80 degrees, and the lows are in the high 50s.  If you plan your visit to the water parks to coincide with a warm, sunny afternoon, I think you'll have a wonderful visit!

Have a great time splashing around!
