    We have a family trip planned for March 17th. I’m wondering if we should purchase a photopass ahead of time? When we travelled to Disneyland a few years ago we purchased it ahead of time and it saved us money. Pictures are super important to me!

    Hi Sonya! In less than two months you will be on your way to enjoying your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I bet you are SO excited!

    I have wonderful news for you - there is a product called Memory Maker that allows you to download all of the special photos and videos taken by Disney's PhotoPass Service during your trip. And just like your previous Disney vacation, you can purchase it ahead of time to save some money! The current savings by pre-purchasing Memory Maker is $30 - do you know how many Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars you can buy with that?! It really is a great deal! Just make sure to purchase Memory Maker at least three days prior to your trip to take advantage of this savings.

    All over the Walt Disney World Resort you'll find PhotoPass photographers ready to capture special moments for your family. My favorite feature of this is that the whole family is able to be in front of the camera, instead of always having someone from the family behind the camera, or having to ask someone passing by to take the picture. PhotoPass photographers are waiting for you and are happy to assist you in making magical memories. Be sure to ask the photographers about "Magic Shots," which have little added surprises when you view your pictures later. Not all photographers are able to add these "Magic Shots," but many of them can!

    You'll also get the pictures and videos that are taken on various attractions, photos at some Character Dining locations and photos at most character meet-and-greets. You can even visit the Disney PhotoPass Service Studio at Disney Springs which offers a variety of portrait-style pictures with an assortment of backdrops. Get ready to smile!
