    My family and I have a trip planned to disney in Feb 2012 and are contemplating putting it off another year. I put down a 200.00 deposit. Will I get that back if we decide to cancel our trip? Thanks! Amy

    Hi Amy,

    While it's no fun to have to postpone a visit to Disney, there are times that we all have to put off a trip for various reasons.

    With a $200 deposit, it sounds as if you booked a WDW package. Terms and Conditions state that you can cancel up to 45 days in advance without a penalty. Otherwise, you will be assessed a $200 cancellation fee if canceling 44 days or less in advance of your check in date. Terms for Vacation Insurance may defer so read your paperwork carefully.

    I hope you'll be able to re-schedule your WDW vacation for a time that works for your family!!
