Hello, we have a family trip to Disney land in September. Unfortunately some of our group won’t be able to make it. We purchased the tickets already and I know the tickets are nonrefundable. So, my question is if we can put the ticket price on a gift card?

    Hi Veronica, welcome to planDisney!

I'm so sorry to hear that some of your party members won’t be able to attend your magical Disney vacation! As you mentioned, theme park tickets are nonrefundable, and currently, you cannot apply the value of the tickets onto a Disney Gift Card. But I do have some good news! If you purchased your tickets this year from the Disneyland Resort website, you have plenty of time to use them! One-day tickets are valid through December 30, 2023, and multi-day tickets are valid through January 12, 2024, or within 13 days of first use, whichever occurs first.

AND, if by chance you're unable to visit the Disneyland Resort by the above dates, and your tickets expire, you STILL have options! Per Disney's eTicket Terms & Conditions, any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park tickets (except for special event tickets or tickets purchased from a third party), can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket in equal or greater value to what was paid for the original ticket.

So hopefully this gives you an excuse to plan a second trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon!
