    Hi, our family trip is booked for Sept. I'm still undecided on the DP but know I can add it up to 5 days. I was wondering if I can make reservations then have them added to the DP (without my visa being charged or reverse the charges if eating @ Norway)?

    I know it can be very difficult to decide on whether or not to get the dining plan.  Hopefully you can search through the Moms Panel site and get some good feedback.  I've decided to skip it on my upcoming trip because we ended up not using all the counter service meals and eating mostly at fixed priced meals like Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

    You will be happy to know that when you give your credit card to hold a reservation at Akershus', they only use that if you do not show up.  When you arrive for your meal, you can choose to use the dining plan or any credit card that you wish.  You are under no obligation to use the card that is holding your reservation.  If you do not show up for the meal, they will charge you a fee on that card.  The amount may depend on the meal and they should tell you that at the time of booking.
