For our family trip in August at BLT, we have a 1BR standard view and 2BR Lake view using our points. I have requested that the reservations be linked, anything else I can do to have the rooms close to each other?

    Hi Patricia,

I love Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort!  It is so sleek and modern, and the walking distance to Magic Kingdom is wonderful.

Asking for your reservations to be linked is a good start.  I would also suggest that you request on each reservation that the villas be close to each other, just to be sure that is specifically noted on each reservation.  If you made the reservations through Disney Vacation Club, the easiest way to do this is to call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800.  If you made the reservations another way, use the phone number or website that you used to make the reservations to make this villa location request.  Please note that while Disney will do their best to honor requests, they are not guaranteed.

Also, when you check in at the resort, ask the cast member at check in if the villas are close together.  The cast member should be able to show you on a map of the resort where each is.  If they are not close enough together for you, you could ask if there are other rooms closer together that were available, or if you waited a while, would some become available.  Again, it is not guaranteed that a cast member can do this; however, I have had experiences where I asked to choose a different villa location and they were able to honor the request.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Patricia.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
