Family trip with 8 adults, 2 kids. Will need three rooms for the 3 families going. Can I book all three and be the head for FP and ADR? Or is it easier for everyone to book on their own and then link reservations? Need tips and tricks for a large group.

    Greetings Jennifer!

I love to plan magical adventures and bring our extended family and friends with us to Walt Disney World Resort. One time, we even celebrated with around 30 of us for a very special trip. I am sure you can agree, it's extra fun to share the smiles with those you love.

We have booked it both ways and honestly, I find it simpler and less complicated to have everyone book their own reservations and then link you in their My Disney Experience account. You will want to be linked no matter which way you choose and this way you can assure the correct people and corresponding My Disney Experience accounts are on the right reservations. For help with linking the accounts, visit the Family & Friends Help Page or feel free to ask us!

Also, I definitely recommend Disney's Memory Maker for your large group. It is such a convenient way to capture all of your vacation memories and it works seamlessly even if your group splits up for separate adventures.

Have a wonderful vacation and please let me know if there is anything else I can help you plan for your "grand gathering."

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
