Hi there, Stephanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations on your new little Mouseketeer! I bet you're already thinking of future Walt Disney World trips with your new addition!
I'd double-check with your doctor for types of rides he or she recommends you stay away from, but Disney does have a
list of attractions that are not advised for expectant moms. They're mostly things that go really fast, have large drops, or generally fling you about (looking at you,
Primeval Whirl).
I think the best attractions for you and your children are those with
no height requirement. These are the rides and shows that are safe for anyone of any age, and - bonus! - most of them are a big hit with
pre-schoolers and young children.
Be sure to take lots of breaks to rest your tired feet, and stay hydrated. You can bring bottles of water into the Parks with you, or request free cups of ice water at any quick service dining location. And feel free to visit the
Baby Care Centers inside all of the Theme Parks, where the kids can color or read while you pull up a rocking chair and take a load off.
Stephanie, when your new bundle of joy arrives and you're ready to plan another family trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, please come see us again. We have lots of tips for visiting with babies!
I hope this helps you plan a magical pre-baby vacation, Stephanie. I wish you good health, a speedy delivery, and a healthy, happy baby. Hope to see ya real soon!
