Hi there! My family is travelling to DLR in April and I was wondering how park tickets work with the app. Mainly, my 5 year old doesn't have a phone so she won't be able to access the app without Mom or Dad, so, how will we show her ticket? Thanks!

Hi Frank! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Your trip is right around the corner and it's great that you're working out the details now for a seamless entry at the Main Entrance. I can walk you through how to add your daughter's ticket to your mobile device.

You can link multiple admission tickets with the Disneyland mobile app. Simply pull up the mobile app and click the three-bar menu on the lower righthand side. That will bring up a series of tiles. Click "Tickets and Passes." You should see a button for "Link Tickets & Passes" at the top or you'll have to bring it up by clicking the "+" sign. From there, you'll choose whether to scan the barcode of your child's ticket using your device's camera or manually type the ID number. This should have been included in your e-mail ticket confirmation. After you've linked the ticket, it will show up under "Tickets and Passes." You simply have to swipe through to find them all, and then you'll be responsible for scanning your child's ticket at the gates and at any Lightning Lane Entrance if you've purchased Genie+.

Since you'll be visiting during Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, I hope you check out the Disney Eats blog, which has great updates on all the yummy options available during the festival. I want to try the Mickey-shaped macaron at Nuts About Cheese Festival Marketplace. My planDisney friends say it's a delicious shareable choice if you're looking for something sweet. Get there early, as they do sell out!

    Have the best trip!
