My family is travelling to Disney World in Feb (1.5 months from now) and I purchased a Memory Maker. How long does the Memory Maker last? My understanding is that it is idle until I go to the park in Feb, and then I have 30 days to download my pictures?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Daya!

This past December was my first time using Memory Maker… and let me tell you, we absolutely loved it! Knowing that all the photos were being taken by a professional and that we had unlimited digital downloads was really convenient.

Once you add Memory Maker to your plans, everything is synced up and ready for your arrive to Walt Disney World. Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos, attraction photos and other digital content in your account will expire after 45 days from the date the photo was taken (Expiration Policy). If you would like to extend the expiration date to 60 days from the date the photo was taken, Disney does offer the ability to extend the expiration date. However, let me tell you, as soon as our vacation ended, I couldn’t download all of our photos fast enough, so you should be good to go within that 45 day mark.

Also, did you know that not only can you download your own Disney PhotoPass photos, but also those of up to 25 members of your family and friends who share media with you. So go ahead and choose those 25 members wisely!

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
