We are a family of 5 traveling with our youngest for the first time who will be 13 months old during our stay. Are we required to book a room accommodating 5 guests? My older girls really have their hearts set on The Little Mermaid room at AOA.

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome and thank you so much for stopping by to ask us your question.  I also have a family of five with my youngest just about to hit 2.  As long as the littlest is under 3-years-old, Disney does not count that child in the total contributing to your room occupancy.  Occasionally, I have noticed online that if I include our youngest when making the reservation, it does tell me a four person room is unavailable, but when I call to make the reservation we have no problems.  Your eldest Princesses will be pleased to know you should have no trouble staying with Ariel at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

If there is anything else I may help you with, Ashley, please ask!  Have a wonderful time planning your magical adventure.

    Pixie Dust to you,

    Lauren
