Hi there! We are a family of 12 who are traveling to WDW with 1 special needs child and 1 special needs adult. With the DAS will my whole family be able to be on the pass?We have planned to do everything together on our first family vacation to WDW.

    Hi Marta ~

A first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is always super exciting! Be sure to pick up "First Visit" buttons at any Guest Relations location.

When you arrive at the first theme park during your visit, go to Guest Relations and speak with a Cast Member regarding your family members' specific needs regarding Disability Access Service (DAS). You should plan on having everyone in your party present with you as they will need to link everyone's MagicBand to be able to enter attractions with the members of your family with special needs. Usually they will link the Guest with special needs and up to five other Guests (six total counting the Guest with special needs).

When we were at Disney World a few weeks ago, I asked the Cast Member at Guest Services if they would link more than six people. He told me that sometimes they do depending on the size of the party and Guests in the party. Twelve is a large party so you may need to speak with a supervisor and even then, they may not be able to do it so be prepared for that possibility. If you have two family members that will require DAS, you may need to break it into two groups. You should be able to get return times for each so that you can still all go together as a family. Just remember that the person with DAS will need to be in the front of each party.

DAS return times will show up in your My Disney Experience so go ahead and download the My Disney Experience mobile app now if you haven't already. Disney FastPass+ service can be used in addition to DAS. I would recommend that you and make FastPass+ selections for your family prior to your trip.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
