Hello. My family and I will be traveling to WDW in November. Are there any suggestions for places to use our dining plan snack credits that would be enough to eat for breakfast or a light lunch?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

I'm so glad you've come to ask about one of my favorite things at Walt Disney World Resort: the snacks! I absolutely love visiting all the theme parks to check out the menus and see what's new since the last time I was there. Since every Disney Dining Plan comes with two Snack credits per person, per day, I love using some of them to grab a light breakfast or lunch, so let's chat about some of my favorite places to enjoy a delicious snack!

If you're starting the day at Magic Kingdom Park, you should head straight back to Fantasyland for a Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston's Tavern. It is far and away my favorite way to use a snack credit for breakfast! The Cheshire Cat Tail from Cheshire Café is also the perfect sweet treat to accompany your coffee.

Disney's Animal Kingdom has some of my favorite menu items that make for a great lunch or hearty snack. I've mentioned them here on the Panel before, but I absolutely love the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese from Flame Tree Barbecue, and also any of the three Mac and Cheese options at Eight Spoon Café. A recent favorite of mine has also been the Grilled Corn from Harambe Fruit Market. It is covered in lots of butter and an amazing curry spice blend, so make sure you try one when you're there!

Finally, I can't let you leave without telling you that the day after you arrive is the very last day of the 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This Festival is a great opportunity to really make the most of your Snack credits. Last year, there were more than 30 Global Marketplaces that popped up around Epcot, and you could use a Snack credit at each of them! There were some incredible dishes, even a version of the Le Cellier Filet Mignon from Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion, so I really recommend that you head over there before it wraps up and use some Snack credits to create an amazing meal for yourself.

    Happy Snacking, Jennifer!
