My family will be traveling to WDW the end of July and are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. My daughter will be turning 13 while we are there. Any suggestions for a fun place to eat dinner to celebrate the beginning of her teenage years (YIKES!)?

Happy Birthday to your daughter as she turns 13. WDW is a magical place to celebrate her special occasion.

I have a few ideas for wonderful meals. My first thought was having a mother-daughter date at the Grand Floridian's Garden View Lounge. It's such a girlie place and perfect for toasting her teens.

For resort dining, I would suggest the California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. While waiting for your meal, you'll be able to view the sunset over the Magic Kingdom or time it just right so that you'll be able to view the nightly Wishes fireworks.

For a more playful dinner, dine at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Cinderella, Prince Charming and the wicked step-sisters will circulate the tables. Afterwards, stroll out to the boat dock to watch the fireworks.

If you will be inside a theme park, I would suggest Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios or Cinderella's Royal Table (Fairy Godmother oversees birthday celebrations) at the Magic Kingdom. If your daughter is an adventurous diner, let her choose a country to dine in at Epcot's World Showcase.

    Best wishes!
