My family is traveling to WDW in a couple weeks. We have been before but now my kids are a little older and I don't need a large bag. I was looking at phone cases with a wrist strap or a crossbody strap. Would this count as a "bag"?

    Hi Kristin,

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be returning to the most magical place on earth in just a few short weeks! Now that your Mouseketeers have grown up a bit, I think that you'll find the same magic and fun that you experienced before, but you'll get to enjoy it new and different ways. SO exciting!

Now that my "babies" are elementary-aged, I have found that I don't need to bring nearly as many things with me to the theme parks. You'll love that freedom! Not only will you need fewer things for your day, but with MagicBands, you'll love having access to everyone's theme park tickets, FastPass+ selections, and even Disney PhotoPass photos right on their wrists. If you'd like to bring a small bag of some sort, you may definitely still feel free to do so. Any bags, regardless of size, will need to checked at the security checkpoint before entering the theme park, though. If you'd like to skip that line and enter through the gate for Guests without bags, you'll need to make sure that everything you're bringing for the day fits into your pocket. I hope that you have fun planning, packing, and counting down the days until your vacation begins!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristin, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
