Family of 5 traveling to Walt Disney world on a budget. which budget resort is best?

    Hi Jeffrey,

    Welcome to planDisney!

How exciting to learn that you all are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Disney on a budget? You are speaking my language. There are such a variety of resort hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection, there are options for folks on different budgets. Given that you are a family of five, you will need to consider one of the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort also has rooms with a fifth sleeper option. You could also try The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Each cabin sleeps up to six adults. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort also has room options that could accommodate your family.

When you are ready to check vacation package pricing with different resort hotels, just click on the vacation package link, then click on Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today. From there, you can enter the number of people in your party, ages of any children who will be traveling with you, and select the number of theme park ticket days.

Also check the Special Offers to see which offers might be applicable to the dates of your visit. When we consider resort hotels, we also balance budget with access to transportation. Disney's Art of Animation Resort has family suites that can sleep up to six and you would have access to the Disney Skyliner. When we have multiple transportation options at a resort hotel, that saves us time. And, time is money!

Jeffrey, we also consider the dining options at each resort hotel. We prefer resort hotels that have at least one table-service restaurant. With a table-service restaurant, we can eat at least one or two meals at the resort hotel that are more elaborate than the typical quick-service dining options. Doing so helps us get into vacation mode!

    Magic and memories,
