We are a family of 5 traveling and staying on Disney property in one room. 3 of us would like a 5 day park pass and 2 of us only need a 4 day pass. What is the best way to book this?

Greetings Mariah, and welcome back to planDisney!

It is a pleasure to help a fellow Buckeye with vacation planning advice to the Walt Disney World Resort. You have picked a great time for your visit. You will be able to enjoy both the 50th Anniversary Celebration and the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Be on the lookout for Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. You will find 50 golden statues of your favorite Disney Characters across all 4 theme parks. The Outdoor Kitchens in EPCOT offer a wide variety of tastes to suit any palette.

If you are thinking of booking a package that includes your accommodations and theme park tickets, everyone on the reservation would be required to have the same entitlements as a part of the package deal. However, if you book room-only accommodations at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, this would allow you to purchase your theme park tickets separately in varying lengths as needed.  Before you make your room reservation, make sure that everyone is connected to your My Family & Friends list and that you are sharing all your plans with each other. All Guests visiting Disney Theme Parks need valid admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation.

Your Theme Park Ticket purchase will need to be completed in 2 transactions. One for the members of your party who will need the 5-day pass, and another for the remaining members of your party needing a 4-day pass. When you complete each purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with a Will Call Confirmation ID number. You will link both numbers to your My Disney Experience account by clicking on the My Plans tab. Hover over the Park Tickets button and click on Link Tickets to enter your confirmation numbers. Click next to assign your tickets to the members of your party and confirm your assignment. Once you have linked your tickets to everyone I recommend that you make your Disney Park Pass reservations soon after you purchase your tickets. All theme parks have limited capacity and a park pass reservation guarantees that you will be admitted. If you purchase the Park Hopper Option for your tickets, you will be permitted to hop to another park after 2:00 P.M. A reservation is not needed for the second park.

I hope this helps you in getting started with your plans. If you have any more questions please come back and visit us again here at planDisney. We would love to help.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
